Three women who have led across continents, sectors, and crises — convinced that organisations grow when their people grow first. The Conscious Exchange is what happens when that conviction becomes a practice.
An executive coach and trainer with three decades of leadership experience across both stable and VUCA environments — and a career path that has been anything but linear.
Roshnee works with clients across South and Southeast Asia, delivering executive coaching and leadership facilitation to organisations whose portfolios reach up to USD 1 billion. She is a strategic partner with PMCC Malaysia and co-founder of The Conscious Exchange — both boutique consulting firms with a deep focus on leadership development and communication, viewed through an Asian lens.
Her career has spanned a Fortune 500 oil and gas company and the role of Chief Operating Officer for a fashion week. That range — from rigour-heavy industrial environments to creatively complex, fast-moving ones — informs how she works: precise where it matters, agile where it has to be, always with a focus on the human behind the role.
Aligned with her commitment to what she calls Collective Consciousness, Roshnee currently mentors with Project Girls 4 Girls (Malaysia) — a Harvard Kennedy School-born initiative developing young women for leadership in organisations, government, entrepreneurship, and agency of self.
A consultant whose twenty-five years of work moves fluently between corporate boardrooms and grassroots community groups — and who has built her practice on the belief that both deserve the same rigour.
Shyamila has designed and led training programmes and coaching engagements for major organisations both in Sri Lanka and globally — including portfolios in excess of USD 750 million. Her work focuses on strategic communication, leadership development and executive coaching, with a consistent through-line: building authentic connection across stakeholders who would not otherwise have met in the same room.
Her commitment extends well beyond the corporate. Through her leadership at The Conscious Exchange she has championed innovative models for women's empowerment and youth development — most notably the Building Bridges framework for youth employability and livelihoods, which she has presented in Cambodia and Vietnam as well as across Sri Lanka.
She brings to the work the academic backbone of an MBA, an MIM, and a Master's in International Relations — combined with the cultural intelligence of someone who has actually done the work, in the field, in the languages, with the people whose lives the work is meant to change.
Twenty-five years of senior leadership across UN agencies, manufacturing, IT, advertising and banking — a career built on launching things, turning things around, and refusing to mistake activity for impact.
Farzana has consistently delivered results in marketing, communications, sustainable development and strategic growth — leading high-impact projects and forging cross-sector partnerships in industries that don't often speak to each other. As Head of Marketing for Holcim, her work won a SLIM "Turnaround Brand of the Year" award. At Ceylon Tobacco Company, she launched Dunhill as the most premium brand in Sri Lanka.
At UNICEF Sri Lanka, she was instrumental in developing the country programme, signed the agency's first private-sector partnership in the country, and won an EFFIE for a national immunisation campaign. As a consultant for the World Food Programme, she established the Scaling Up Nutrition Business Network and developed a national social and behaviour change campaign for nutrition.
Farzana's contributions to social service and women's empowerment run in parallel to her commercial career — co-founding The Conscious Exchange, serving as President of the Rotary Club of Colombo Regency, and supporting organisations like Emerge Lanka. She brings to the firm a particular gift: the ability to tell a story that earns the attention of the people whose attention is hardest to win.
Beyond our three co-founders, we work with a small circle of strategic partners whose expertise complements ours — extending our reach and depth across the region.
A certified Master Coach, Team and Group Coach, Mentor, and Certified Project Manager with more than thirty years of experience — bringing a holistic approach that combines vast on-field expertise leading mega projects with deep insights into leadership and human psychology.
Peter is the founder of PMCC and one of South East Asia's most experienced coaches working at the intersection of complex project delivery and human development. His career spans senior leadership roles in large-scale infrastructure and engineering programmes, where he has supported teams through high-pressure delivery while building the leadership capability needed to sustain them.
His coaching practice is grounded in this dual fluency: he understands how strategy actually lands inside organisations under real constraint, and he understands what individuals need in order to lead well through that pressure. The result is coaching that is practical, honest, and rooted in lived experience rather than theoretical frameworks.
As a Strategic Partner of The Conscious Exchange, Peter extends our reach into mega-project environments and brings depth to our work with senior leaders navigating complex delivery contexts across the region.
That is the bet we made when we founded The Conscious Exchange — and fifteen-plus years and 4,800 participants later, we are still convinced it is the right one.
